Terrible Television set
I purchased this from John Lewis on a cost match at £340. The specs seem fantastic, so though it appeared horrible in shop, I put that down to bad options.I got it home and I was pleased with the layout and dimension, but be watchful if you plan to wall mount, since the bottom lip on the again of the Television set will avoid you from tightening the base repairing screws identified on several Television wall mount brackets.The Tv set are not able to receive terrestrial HDTV (a lot of TV’s which are not advertised as FreeviewHD can truly obtain it, but not this 1) and the menu/EPG is truly standard and low high quality.By far the worst level is photo quality – it is really genuinely poor. Uneven backlight, horrible colors, terrible picture sound issues. When watching SD photos it really is so poor, it often seems like it really is not been tuned in accurately (and yeah, it experienced been tuned in correctly – due to the fact I also analyzed it with a Tv card in a HTPC)What ever “deal” you see on this Television set, just keep away from it and look somewhere else. I bought this established for £297 +£12 postage, and i have to say was astonished at the prize. Was a little worried about the other overview but took the plunge considering they didn’t have an Hd supply hooked up. And i was so correct to consider the plunge. Tivo High definition channels are crisp and as ought to be and even common def channels by means of Tivo are not that undesirable(Its regular so not heading to be excellent). I then hooked up a Bluray Player and was really content with the photograph.All round for the price i paid out i was contemplating “You get what you pay for” nicely the value i paid was a steal….So consider the plunge(ONLY if you employing SKYHD/Tivo as thats the very best enter for it) you will not be sad if you can get it at that value yet again…D Marsh
